Rock’n Ribfest offers three days of family-friendly events

[Nashua, NH – May 1, 2012] Looking for a fun, kid-friendly activity everyone in your family can enjoy? Bring the whole gang to Nashua Rotary West 10th Annual Rock’n Ribfest, scheduled for June 15-17, 2012 at the Anheuser-Busch Brewery in Merrimack, NH. Admission is just $7 per person and kids under eight are free. This is the largest fundraiser for the Nashua Rotary West and all proceeds go to support more than 40 area youth and family nonprofit organizations.

“Ribfest offers something for everyone,” says Betsy Abrahams, executive director of The Youth Council. “Some families pack board games and relax on the grounds while others play on the inflatables all day.” The Youth Council has been volunteering at Ribfest for the past ten years and has been a beneficiary of Nashua Rotary West Community Grants Program. “Proceeds from Ribfest have allowed us to provide counseling to children and teens, help parents reduce stress, and strengthen families,” says Abrahams. “We are so grateful to the thousands of families that come out to enjoy Ribfest, because ultimately, they are helping us to build a stronger more resilient community.”
