Join us for the State of New Hampshire’s Official  State Barbecue Championship. Are your barbecue skills something to rave about?  Enter this Kansas City Barbecue Society sanctioned competition and put your recipes to the test.
We will have a tent with 42 judges to taste and choose the Champions in each of 4 Grilling entries on Saturday, and 4 different Barbeques categories on Sunday. The winner out of the NH State Championship qualifies for other contests that are open only to State Champions, such as the Jack Daniels contest, known as “The Jack” held on the grounds of their distillery in Lynchburg, Tennessee.
Prizes
Trophies and cash prizes will be awarded for Grand Champions and Reserve Champions each day, and for each first through third places in each category. Medallions and prize money will be awarded for fourth and fifth places.
- Friday: Ribbers Arrive & Set Up
- Saturday: General Grilling Contest
- Sunday: KCBS Barbeque Contest
The contest is sanctioned by the Kansas City Barbecue Society and has been declared a New Hampshire State Barbecue Championship by the Honorable John Lynch, Governor of the State of New Hampshire.
The competition teams have come from all the New England States, NY, VA, OH, TX, FL, and NJ.
